A Pig Flies By While Sophie Updates!

I am alive and well, and I've missed you all. :-)

A few things that have happened since I last updated:

*I moved

*I started a new job

*I went on a weekend trip to a cabin in Indiana with some awesome spanko friends. (Ella's account here).

*I shot with RS a couple of times, which is always a good time.

*Last but not least. . . I was “discovered” by my older sister and brother-in-law a few weeks ago. Since I've kept this part of my life a secret from all of my family, this took A LOT of getting used to for all three of us.

Thankfully, she has been very supportive and understanding about the whole thing. I don't think she plans to regularly read my blog, but if she does. . . Thanks, sis, for being so accepting and realizing that I'm still me, just a little more unique. That shouldn't be much of a surprise, anyway. :-)

Honestly, it is a little bit of a relief for someone close to me to be to be “in the know.” It would probably make me feel better to hear stories from any of you who have had a similar outing experience. That is, if any of you are still stopping by!

Between starting a new and challenging job and the above mentioned experience, I've separated myself a bit from the online kink world more than I would like. I truly do miss being more active here, but I can't make any promises until I get further settled into things. For now, I wanted to quickly update and reaffirm my appreciation for any readers. I'm slowly catching up on some emails, as well.

I'm still here and craving a spanking. . . Imagine that. :-D

Still Alive and Feelin' Ballsy. . .Well, Sometimes

It's been a long time since I've updated, I know.

For those of you who have patiently stuck around, you'll be happy to know (I know I am!) that I attended the last class of my college career today. Just one final exam next week, and then onto a new chapter!

I'm in the midst of finding a new place to live, and finding time to get some holiday shopping done. While shopping today, I had a topic come into my mind and I thought, “What a perfect opportunity to revive my poor, neglected blog.”

The topic of pain tolerance in spankos has been discussed many times before. I've heard a lot of spankees say that while they can handle a good amount of pain from a spanking, they're complete babies when it comes to other forms of physical pain (a stubbed toe, for example).

I'm the same way, but I've also found another dichotomy in myself: how adventurous I am in my vanilla life vs. my spanko life.

I'm not a risk taker. In most every situation, I quickly establish my comfort zone and remain there. Unlike the typical college-aged wanderer, I've lived in the same apartment for over half of my college career and have held the same part-time job for longer than that. I crave stability and thrive on list-making and plans.

As a spanko, I'm completely different. I get giddy about trying new things and pushing my limits. I'm fearless when it comes to trying new and scary implements. Going past where I feel comfortable in a spanking excites me. My stomach flips at the thought of spontaneously being turned over someone's knee.

It seems strange to me that my spanko self is most comfortable being uncomfortable, while my usual personality is so different from that.

Can any of you relate?

Also, a sincere THANK YOU to everyone who has voted for me as New Spankee of the Year. It has been a great year and I have all of you to thank. :-)

Interview and Shoot!

Yes, I know the announcement about my interview is delayed, but better late than never?

My interview for Richard Windsor has been up on his site for a few days now, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I love reading all of the positive feedback, too. Thanks, Rich, for the generous promotion!

It was fun for me to shoot the interview with Danny, because I do like to share my experiences and spanko past with this awesome community. If you haven't checked it out yet, please do!

At my RealSpankings shoot on Thursday, I got to shoot with another model, Frankie. She's fairly new, and very fun to work with, not to mention adorably spankable. :-) We started off in our school uniforms for RSI, and were made to strip down to only our socks and shoes and receive a hand spanking for messing around during our free hour.

I have kind of a funny story here. Michael Masterson had me bent over grabbing my knees for the hand spanking, and I had the hardest time keeping my balance as he swatted away. It was quite distracting, and I kept stumbling forward and having to reset my position. Also, we realized after we had shot the first scene that there had been a misplaced bathrobe sitting on the table the entire time. Redo!

Not really, but it does look a little out of place. Shooting spanking scenes doesn't always go so smoothly!

For the second scene, we changed into gym uniforms and got strapped for failing to improve our fitness exams over the year. That was actually realistic for me; I despised gym class in school and never got decent grades even though my other grades were perfect. Whoever decided that kids need to dress in horrible uniforms and run around in circles obviously had problems. Oh, right, back to the shoot. . .Our third scene was a first for me, as I had never been paddled on camera before. Paddles are scary for me, and I genuinely fear them. Michael assured me that the paddle they used for their School Swats series was a lighter aspen wood and although it would be painful, it was over clothes and wouldn't be as bad as I thought.

It was still bad. But I grimaced my way through it and was proud in the end. I even got to sign the School Swats paddle! Frankie braved her way through it, too.

I didn't mark much at first, but a small bruise appeared on my right cheek a day later, and I still feel sore. Another successful shoot. :-)

P.s. Oh! Also, the 2010 Spanking Awards are going on right now, and Violetta was sweet enough to nominate me for New Spankee of the Year. Realspankings got a lot of nominations as well, which is great. Take a look if you feel inclined! ;-)

Sleep Bratting

We've all heard of sleep talking and sleep walking. But wouldn't it be strange if some mischievous girl were to start being defiant in her sleep? I experienced this a few nights ago, when I woke myself up in the middle of the night saying an angry “no!” In response to what, I'm not sure. I must have been dreaming about something horribly unfair being done to me, though. :-)

This entry won't be very long, as I have a lot of reading to get done. I do have a few exciting, spanking related things coming up, though. My next shoot with Realspankings is this Thursday.

Also, I had mentioned a while ago, before Shadow Lane, that I would be doing an interview with Richard Windsor. That didn't end up happening in Vegas because of our busy schedules, so we decided to do it a little different way. That will be up soon and I will post the link to it then.

I hope everyone is enjoying their week! I can't believe it's already November and getting dark at 5 pm. It may be helpful for the farmers, but I like it to still be light as I'm coming home from my day. Hmph!

Tricks and Treats

Well, another Halloween has come and gone. I remember being so excited for this holiday growing up. I would pick out my costume months in advance, go to class parties, trick-or-treat for hours.

I even remember sneaking into my older sister's room one night to steal some of her candy stash (I always ate mine faster than she did).

This year wasn't quite as exciting, but I still managed to have some fun. Danny and I went to a kinky Halloween party Friday night, and I got a nice, hard belting that I still have a tiny bruise from. I'd really been craving a hard spanking all week (school has been stressful!) and so it felt good to fall asleep with a warm bottom that night.

Yesterday, I had a scary movie night with some friends and watched The Fog and Quarantine. The latter was the scariest and I actually had trouble sleeping! I don't know why I torture myself with scary movies, but I love when I can find a good one. Any recommendations?

On a different note, my friend Henry Higgins visited again a little while ago, and we had fun with some role play spankings. He brought me a genuine British school uniform and I got to feel the slipper for the first time. It really stings! I was very red and sore by the end.
I hope everyone had a safe and slightly scandalous weekend!

The Matter at Hand

First of all, thank you to everyone who participated in LOL Day! The comments made my day a lot better. :-) Now, onto that matter. . .

Being human means that we are inherently attracted to certain features on other humans. We notice nice smiles, good hair, smooth skin, and body shape. One psychological study found that a symmetrical face was the most appealing even to young infants, who would focus their gaze on the symmetrical picture for seconds longer than those that were less balanced.

With all of the attractive features to choose from, some people may find it hard to believe that the thing I notice first and am drawn to are large, masculine hands.

There's just something about them. I think about what they can do: hold me tight, make me feel safe, fix things around the house, play music, operate machines, give a firm handshake, or hold me down during a firm spanking.

I've been guilty of checking out the hands of my male classmates during lectures, and if I like what I see, I'm more likely to talk to them or send them a smile.

It may be strange, or picky, but it's a fact. Do any of you have a similar attraction, or something uniquely different?
Let's see a show of hands! What a nice show that would be. :-)

Loving those Lurkers

Hello everyone!

Since I've had this blog up for less than a year, this will be my first Love Our Lurkers Day. I've always liked the idea, and I remember leaving a few comments on my favorite blogs years ago, when I was an avid lurker! It felt good to make my presence known to the blog writers I appreciated so much.

Since starting this blog (and looking at the handy Statcounter), I know that I have a lot more readers than commenters. So, if you feel so inclined, I would love to receive comments from any lovely lurkers that may be around. If you'd rather just send an email, I love getting those too!

I've gotten to know so many great people through creating this blog, and I really do thank any and all of you who stop by to read.
